Thomas GILETTI

Professeur des Universités (Full Professor)

in Mathematics at the Laboratoire Mathématiques Blaise Pascal (LMBP) of University Clermont-Auvergne, since 2023.

I am a member of the "Partial Differential Equations and numerical analysis" team, where my research topics are the study of reaction-diffusion equations and related propagation phenomena (traveling waves, large-time behavior, applications in biology and ecology).

Since 2019 I am also the french coordinator of the CNRS IRN (International Research Network) France-Japan-Korea-Taiwan 'ReaDiNet' project.

Research

I study reaction-diffusion equations and systems and their applications to population dynamics and biology. More precisely, I am interested in the large-time behavior of solutions: qualitative properties, spreading speeds, existence and convergence to traveling waves...
